Earlier this month, the entire Alliance team traded laptops for lounge chairs and deadlines for ocean views as we embarked on our annual company retreat—this time to the stunning Secrets St. James Hyatt in Jamaica. We invited all of our employees and their spouses or plus ones on an all-expense-paid Caribbean getaway designed not only for relaxation but also for recognition. This is more than just a vacation—it’s a reflection of who we are as a company.
Our time together kicked off with a welcome party on the first night, where laughter, conversation, and island vibes set the tone for the days ahead. During the evening, one of our Partners, Joe Rollin, delivered a heartfelt speech that perfectly captured the spirit of the event. He reminded us: “We all do different things within Alliance, but together we make something really awesome happen.” Joe compared our team to a luxury resort—each department playing a unique and essential role to ensure everything runs seamlessly. And just like a resort, it’s the people behind the scenes who make the magic happen.
After the welcome festivities, the rest of the trip was wide open for everyone to enjoy however they wanted—whether that meant snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, soaking up the sun on the beach, or simply unplugging and recharging.
These annual retreats are a cornerstone of Alliance’s culture. They represent more than just a perk—they reflect our deep commitment to valuing our people.
