Senior Director, Business Development
Jesse is a connector at heart, passionate about building relationships that fuel growth and unlock opportunities for clients and colleagues alike. As Senior Director of Business Development, he draws on more than two decades of experience across accounting, private equity, start-ups, and consulting to help organizations navigate challenges and position themselves for long-term success.
Before joining Alliance, Jesse founded Eastwood Advisory, a small business advisory firm in Evergreen, CO, where he built a thriving practice serving more than 100 clients within its first two years. His entrepreneurial journey also includes pivotal roles with The Siegfried Group, RSM US LLP, and ventures in consumer goods and private equity, each sharpening his ability to drive both strategy and execution.
A Denver native, Jesse earned degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Lee University and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, fly fishing, skiing, and camping, as well as tackling remodel projects with his wife, Vivian. Most of all, he loves cheering on their two teenage boys in their own pursuits.

Director ERP Business & Financial Systems
Brandye brings two decades of cross-functional expertise in finance, accounting, information technology, and sales to her role as Senior ERP Business Systems Manager within Alliance’s growing Financial Systems Consulting practice. She’s a seasoned problem-solver who helps clients maximize their ERP investment through tailored system implementations, ongoing administration, and comprehensive training.
Before joining Alliance, Brandye served as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Deltek, where she acted as a trusted advisor to a wide array of clients, evaluating and aligning ERP solutions to their unique operational needs.
Brandye’s commitment extends beyond technical proficiency; she’s motivated by client success and supported by a collaborative team environment. Outside of work, Brandye enjoys staying active and giving back—she spends her free time working out and volunteering.

Director, Client Advisory
Blake is a Director in Alliance’s Client Advisory practice, where he partners with organizations to deliver high-impact solutions across accounting, finance, and business transformation initiatives. Known for his thoughtful approach and ability to build lasting client relationships, Blake draws on a strong technical foundation and a passion for helping teams succeed.
Before joining Alliance, Blake worked as a consultant at Salo, where he led finance and accounting projects for a diverse set of clients. He began his career in public accounting, gaining experience at both EY and KPMG, and brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by time in both client service and hands-on execution roles.
Blake holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University and is a licensed CPA. Now based in Colorado, he enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring everything the mountains have to offer.

Director, ERP Business Systems
Mike brings a strong blend of financial systems expertise and hands-on accounting experience to Alliance’s ERP Business Systems practice. With a background that includes ERP, planning, and labor/payroll system implementations, upgrades, and support, he helps clients optimize their business systems to drive efficiency and scalability.
Before joining Alliance, Mike served as Director of Financial Systems at ICF, Inc., where he led key initiatives to modernize and enhance system performance. His career began in accounting and financial analysis, giving him a practical perspective on how technology can support finance teams more effectively.
Mike is known for his collaborative approach, deep systems knowledge, and ability to translate business needs into lasting solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys running, traveling, catching a hockey game, and chasing his beagles around the house.

Director, ERP Business Systems
Rebecca brings a unique blend of functional finance expertise and systems leadership, with a strong track record of driving business transformation through technology. Her experience spans financial and business system implementations, process automation, operational improvement, and data governance and migration.
She approaches every project with a lens of transformation and improvement—focusing not just on the systems, but also the data, processes, and organizational culture. Her goal is to drive meaningful change and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Known for her ability to bridge the gap between finance and IT, Rebecca partners closely with clients to streamline operations, enhance system performance, and enable smarter decision-making.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to both new and favorite destinations, and escaping into a good book.

Senior Director, Financial Systems (Deltek)
Joe leads the Deltek practice within Alliance’s Financial Systems group, bringing deep expertise in the GovCon industry and a reputation for building high-performing, client-focused teams. With a career spanning leadership roles at Deltek, TBS, and PROCAS, he has played a key role in shaping the delivery of financial systems solutions for government contractors.
Known for his strategic mindset and hands-on approach, Joe combines technical depth with a strong understanding of business and regulatory requirements. His extensive knowledge of the Deltek ecosystem enables him to design and implement solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and long-term success.
Joe is committed to fostering trusted partnerships, delivering high-quality outcomes, and creating collaborative environments where teams and clients thrive—all of which align with the core values of Alliance.

Director, Client Advisory
Shipra is a Director in Alliance’s Client Advisory practice, where she helps organizations navigate complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions with clarity and precision.
Before joining Alliance, she served as a Senior Manager in EY’s Assurance practice, working with both publicly traded and privately held companies across industries such as manufacturing, technology, media, telecommunications, retail, and life sciences. Shipra brings deep knowledge of SEC regulations, US GAAP, IFRS, and the financial reporting requirements tied to mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets activity.
She is an active CPA in New Jersey and holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida. Outside of work, Shipra enjoys traveling and listening to music.

Director, Client Advisory
Rachel is a trusted advisor within Alliance’s Client Advisory practice, bringing deep expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls. She has extensive experience leading financial statement audits for both public and private companies across industries including government contracting, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and education.
Before joining Alliance, Rachel held senior roles within the government contracting sector, where she specialized in SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and complex accounting matters. Her technical expertise includes stock-based compensation, lease accounting, goodwill and intangible asset impairment, and segment reporting.
Rachel is known for her detail-oriented approach, collaborative mindset, and ability to guide clients through high-stakes reporting and compliance challenges with confidence.

Director, Client Advisory
Joseph is a passionate financial leader in Alliance’s Client Advisory practice, known for delivering strategic solutions to complex challenges and building collaborative, high-performing teams.
Before joining Alliance, he served as a Senior Manager at EY, where he led IPO readiness initiatives for startups and managed intricate audits for a wide range of public and private companies. With a people-first mindset and strong technical foundation, Joseph is committed to helping clients achieve their goals while fostering growth within the teams he leads.
Outside of his professional work, Joseph is actively involved in the community through leadership roles with the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Scholarship Foundation. He also partners with his wife to help grow her thriving marketing agency by applying his finance and accounting expertise.
In his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, playing volleyball, hunting, and sharpening his creative skills through improv classes.

Known for her strong technical background and practical approach, Tammy helps clients navigate complex reporting requirements and evolving business challenges with confidence. Her ability to build trust and deliver high-quality solutions has made her a go-to advisor for finance teams seeking both expertise and execution.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants, and staying active through yoga and outdoor activities.

Director, Accounting & Finance Recruitment
Mike brings over a decade of experience in accounting and finance recruitment, serving clients across South Florida and beyond with direct hire, interim staffing, client advisory, financial systems, and technology talent solutions. He is known for building strong client relationships, delivering results, and bringing a thoughtful, metrics-driven approach to every engagement.
Before joining Alliance, Mike launched and scaled a South Florida Accounting & Finance direct hire division for a private equity–backed recruiting firm—filling over 150 roles and generating more than $3M in revenue in just over four years. He also spent nearly a decade at an employee-owned recruiting firm, where he expanded the region’s direct hire and interim staffing business while running a high-performing recruitment desk.
A proud graduate of the University of Miami, Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is an active Hurricane Club member and football season ticket holder. Outside of work, you’ll find him volunteering with the Boca Raton Little League baseball program or traveling with his family.

Senior Director, Client Advisory
Michelle brings over a decade of experience in accounting, auditing, and consulting to Alliance’s Client Advisory practice, helping clients navigate complex financial and technical challenges. She has supported both multinational SEC registrants and private companies across industries such as life sciences, technology, telecommunications, and real estate.
Known for her deep technical expertise, Michelle provides strategic guidance on a wide range of accounting matters—including ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and ASC 842 (Leases). Her ability to translate complexity into clarity has made her a trusted partner to finance leaders seeking practical solutions and long-term value.
She is a licensed CPA in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and staying connected to the latest in the world of finance and business.

Director, Project Management
Robin leads complex technology initiatives with a sharp focus on collaboration, efficiency, and results. With over 28 years of experience in financial systems, project management, business analysis, and SOX risk and controls, Robin brings both technical expertise and strategic leadership to every engagement.
Robin is known for her ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, effectively working with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds. A CPA and certified PMP, she draws on her strong foundation in accounting, technology, and people management to solve problems, lead successful implementations, and guide teams through change.
Before joining Alliance, Robin served as a Business Analysis Manager at Freddie Mac, where she played a key role in driving business systems enhancements and operational improvements.
Now based in Pawleys Island, SC, Robin enjoys beach life with her husband, daughters, and dogs. In her free time, you’ll find her reading, traveling, or soaking up the sun with her family by the ocean.

Senior Director, Financial Systems (Unanet)
Jean leads the Unanet practice, delivering high-impact ERP consulting solutions for government contracting clients. With over a decade of deep ERP and industry expertise, Jean is widely recognized for her ability to navigate complexity with clarity, bringing both technical skill and creative solutioning to every engagement.
Prior to joining Alliance, Jean spent more than eight years at Unanet, where she led some of the platform’s largest and most complex GovCon ERP implementations. Her mastery of the system, coupled with her firsthand understanding of the operational challenges government contractors face, makes her an invaluable partner to clients undergoing digital and financial transformation.
Jean began her career in public accounting, earning her CPA at a Big 4 firm before transitioning into industry as a Finance Director for a government contractor. She later went on to earn her MBA, further strengthening her strategic and financial acumen.
Outside of work, Jean is an avid tennis player, golfer, and sports enthusiast who loves spending time with her family.

Director, Business Development
Eric leads client engagement and business development efforts across Northern Virginia. Known for his thoughtful, dependable, and client-centric approach, Eric is committed to building trust through responsiveness, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of his clients’ unique needs.
Eric brings a strong sense of leadership and care to every relationship, consistently earning the confidence of executives and teams by showing up with solutions, not just services. A key contributor to Alliance’s continued growth in the Northern Virginia market, Eric partners with clients across industries to support their evolving talent needs and deliver high-impact consulting, business systems, and executive search solutions.
A proud graduate of Rider University, Eric earned his degree in Marketing and International Business while excelling as a student-athlete. After graduation, he pursued his passion for baseball at the professional level, traveling the country for three years. In his free time, Eric stays active playing basketball, baseball, and tennis, and enjoys movies, current events, and spending time with friends and family.

Brittney plays a pivotal role in building client relationships, expanding national brand recognition, and driving growth across all service lines—including consulting, business systems, and executive search. A strategic and relationship-driven leader, Brittney combines empathy, adaptability, and curiosity to uncover client needs and deliver tailored solutions that move businesses forward.
As Alliance’s seventh hire, and its very first female employee, Brittney has helped shape the firm’s culture and trajectory since the beginning. Often referred to as “the matriarch,” she has led the charge in securing marquee Fortune 500 clients, establishing anchor accounts that continue to fuel Alliance’s national expansion. A sought-after voice in the finance and accounting community, Brittney represents Alliance on prominent stages through speaking engagements with the AICPA and other professional platforms.
A licensed CPA with a background at EY, Brittney brings deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to every engagement. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, listening to audiobooks, salsa dancing with her fiancé, and giving back through her roles with the AICPA Chapter Board and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Director, Business Development
Walk into a room with Josh Asselin in it, and you’ll instantly feel the lift, he brings positivity, genuine curiosity, and a burst of energy to every conversation. Josh spearheads Alliance’s private-equity relationships in the DC market, opening new doors for finance and accounting services across the PE community.
Backed by nearly a decade in the staffing industry, Josh is a natural connector who builds trust through networking, mentorship, and a personal approach to solving complex talent and project needs. Clients appreciate that what you see is what you get: an authentic partner focused on getting results and making the process feel easy.
Josh’s drive extends well beyond the office. A former student-athlete at UNC Wilmington (double major in Communication Studies and Spanish), he still channels that competitive spirit into cycling, running, and just about any workout that gets his heart racing. His favorite finish line, though, is home, spending time with his wife and their three spirited daughters, or catching live music whenever they can

Nick serves as Managing Partner and leads Alliance’s Real Estate and Financial Services practice. He specializes in Executive Search across all areas of accounting and finance, with deep expertise in supporting professionals transitioning from public accounting, as well as roles focused on technical accounting, financial reporting, internal audit, and FP&A. Nicholas also has extensive experience supporting clients in the government services sector, particularly USAID contractors.
Prior to joining Alliance, Nick held leadership roles in executive recruiting and business development within a top public accounting firm. His track record includes successfully placing CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, VPs of Financial Reporting, and senior technical accounting leaders within Fortune 500 companies across financial services, real estate, consulting, and government.
He is known for his consultative approach, market insight, and commitment to helping both clients and candidates navigate complex hiring needs with clarity and confidence.
Outside of work, Nicholas is a devoted family man who cherishes time with his sons. He especially enjoys traveling the world with his son, who competes in Formula One racing, a shared passion that fuels unforgettable adventures and lasting memories.

With over 20 years of experience spanning finance, accounting, and technology, Nikki brings a unique ability to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Before joining Alliance, she was part of the Finance Leadership Team and Business Transformation Office for a $1.5B+ organization, where she successfully guided teams through large-scale, tech-driven change. Today, she leverages that experience to help clients navigate complex ERP and CRM implementations.

Nicole Holden brings a rare mix of passion, precision, and powerhouse experience to her role as Vice President of Alliance’s Client Advisory practice. A CPA with more than 20 years of experience, Nicole has worked across the globe helping clients navigate everything from technical accounting complexities to major business transformations, and she does it all with a level of dedication that inspires everyone around her.
She’s known for rolling up her sleeves and getting into the details, whether it’s leading ASC 606 and 842 implementations, advising on restatements and business combinations, or helping clients interpret new accounting guidance with clarity and confidence. Before joining Alliance, Nicole served as a regulator for both the SEC and PCAOB, held leadership roles in industry and public accounting, and built a reputation as someone clients genuinely trust to get it right.
When she’s not deep in the weeds of advisory work, Nicole is usually on the move, traveling, hitting the slopes, or exploring the outdoors with her two kids and their poodle. She’s also a big fan of industry conferences, always looking for new ideas and opportunities to help her clients and team stay ahead of the curve.

Vice President, Technology
Every office has that one person everyone trusts, leans on, and genuinely enjoys being around. At Alliance, that’s Clay. Known affectionately as the “dad” of the office, Clay brings a steady, sincere presence to everything he does, and it’s a big reason why people love working with him.
As the founder of Alliance’s IT Staffing and Recruiting practice, Clay quite literally built something from nothing. Since joining Alliance, he’s grown the tech side of the business from the ground up, drawing on his 12+ years of experience at a large, publicly traded firm where he launched and led multiple successful offices across the Mid-Atlantic.
Clay has a rare ability to balance high performance with genuine connection. He’s passionate about making a difference for clients and candidates, but just as passionate about helping his team grow and thrive. Under his leadership, the IT practice isn’t just scaling, it’s built on a culture of trust, mentorship, and long-term success.
Outside the office, Clay lives in Richmond, VA with his wife Abby and their five daughters. He’s a proud University of Florida grad and lifelong Gator fan.

Chief Delivery Officer
Joe Rollin is the kind of leader who never stops pushing, whether it’s for his clients, his team, or the continued growth of Alliance. With over a decade of industry experience, Joe is known for his relentless work ethic, resilience, and genuine commitment to doing whatever it takes to get the job done right.
He’s become a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex resourcing decisions, helping them determine whether a project calls for traditional staffing solutions or the specialized expertise of one of our top-tier ex-public accountants on the Client Advisory team. Thanks in large part to Joe’s efforts, our interim and accounting & finance consulting practice has seen remarkable growth.
But beyond the hustle, Joe’s all about family. He lives in Vienna with his wife Nikki, their two adventurous daughters, Selia and Talia, and their dog, Bendito. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him soaking up time with the family at Smith Mountain Lake, recharging and ready for whatever comes next.

Chief Growth Officer
If you’ve ever met Brian, chances are you felt like you’d known him for years. He’s one of those rare leaders who knows how to grow businesses and relationships at the same time, and he’s played a major role in both at Alliance since joining in 2015.
Brian leads our business development efforts and oversees our growing Business Systems and Technology practices. He’s also a big part of our marketing and communications strategy, helping to tell the Alliance story in a way that reflects the heart behind the work. A connector by nature, Brian is known for building deep, long-lasting relationships with clients and guiding them through critical technical accounting, interim, and system transformation needs, especially in the government contracting space, where he’s become a true expert.
Beyond his work at Alliance, Brian is the founder of CFO Rising, a nonprofit focused on developing the next generation of finance leaders, and he serves on the board of PRS, a behavioral health and suicide prevention organization based in Northern Virginia.
When he’s not mentoring future CFOs or guiding enterprise projects, Brian’s happy place is home in Haymarket, VA with his wife Halley, their three kids, and their golden retriever, Cider. He’s also a fan of a good round of golf and an even better pour of bourbon.

Chief Strategy Officer
Chris is one of the founding partners of The Alliance Group and brings an unmatched drive to everything he does. Whether he’s leading an executive search or strategizing around client growth, Chris is all in—every time. He’s passionate about performance, obsessed with delivering value, and deeply committed to helping clients find the leadership talent that truly moves the needle.
Chris has played a key role in shaping Alliance’s private equity strategy, helping us build a reputation as a go-to partner for both public companies and high-growth, PE-backed organizations. His specialty? Executive search within accounting, finance, and tax, particularly for industries like aerospace & defense, technology, consumer products, and energy services. From CFOs to VPs of Tax, he knows how to spot transformational talent and navigate the nuances of complex, high-stakes searches.

Ed has helped shape the DNA of Alliance since day one, not just through his decades of experience in executive search and practice management, but through the way he shows up for others, always making time for a teammate, a client, or a word of encouragement.
Before starting Alliance, Ed built a $13M practice for a national staffing firm and spent years leading high-performing sales organizations. He’s a former CPA who’s been in the shoes of the clients we serve—working as a Controller and Auditor early in his career.
When he’s not leading with heart at work, you’ll probably find him on the ice. Ed plays in a men’s hockey league and lives in Maryland with his wife and their three kids.
